Meet Argie Ligeros

With 50 years of continuous practice, Argie Ligeros is a trailblazer in yoga and wellness. The first teacher trained by Bikram, she created Power Yoga, Yoga Sculpt, and the Yoga for Athletes Fitness System, and has taught more than 15,000 classes worldwide. A former competitive gymnast and Western States Balance Beam Champion, she has developed programs for Olympic athletes, Fortune 500 companies, luxury spas, and pediatric oncology at UCLA. Her resilience—shaped by early loss, her son’s battle with leukemia, and spiritual study with Baba Muktananda—infuses her work. Founder of RG Life, Soul Fitness for the Ages, she continues to mentor women across generations, ski, cycle, and inspire still flowing strong at 71.
